Indivisible Burke Community Action Ideas
Revised August 2026
As members of the Indivisible Burke NC community have ideas to invest in expanding the reach and impact of the organization, the team, along with some select other members of Indivisible Burke, will evaluate each idea according to the following structure:
Does it support our mission? Specifically:
Igniting public action in support of a peaceful democracy
Educating and building skills for democratic engagement
Strengthening the fabric of our community
For all people in Burke County, enabling them to be heard and actively participate
in our democracy.
Do we have the capacity to do it? Specifically:
People to lead and manage
Resources to invest
Free, appropriate time for the activity
The process to submit an idea for review is straightforward.
Complete the attached form and save it in a separate document
Send ideas to the following email – scott@indivisibleburkenc.org ATTN: Idea Submission
Scott will review and ensure it contains the following:
Scott will respond to the submitter with a decision target date, as well as to set up time to meet with them to review the idea with the submitter
After this, a preliminary evaluation of the idea will occur, and a summary will be sent to the leadership team with a recommendation.
The Leadership Team will evaluate the idea and provide feedback. A decision will be made and communicated to the submitter.
A decision will be documented on the submission and saved in the Fundraising folder.
